Mermaid

Mermaid is our front-end framework, whose name comes from the following cartoon suggesting the difference between the front end and the back end.

Mermaid provides the following front-end components:

  • Stylesheets
  • JavaScript files
  • Asset files, such as images and fonts.

Mermaid is separate from all other microsites, so that its components can be used by all microsites, to achieve a consistent design and user experience no matter now many separate microsites comprise the Kleenheat web architecture.

Mermaid could be hosted either as an internal microsite, or as a cloud-based microsite.
